Ok Story time. Look at any teenage picture of me and you will see white, ashy omg so bad make up. Where i was wearing my mothers make-up my mother is a dark olive it wasn’t a good look, but you know what it was high street stuff nothing matched my skin tone. Moving several years on, I discovered Mac but where i went from ashy, I suddenly walked into a red based, everything makes me look like an oompa lumpa and I thought that was impossible for a brown person to do, but not it happens. Then one day in Peckham, I’m in my favourite hair shop, looking at all the make up hoping to find some kind of miricle. When i found a nice Yellow based make up that brand of make up would discontinue it several months later. Surely I cant be the only women in the world with this skin tone???? So thank you Doris Michaels for you ST- 8/2 Thank you to that kind sales clerk in Peckham who helped me find my match and a double thank you DM for online shopping! For I am a long way from London now! I recently dived into a concealer and it’s perfect. Long banished are the days where i look grey. Thank you. Seriously. I will never again have to struggle to find skin colours in my colour again.
